| CT Indian Life is published 12
times a year by Indian Life LLC, consisting of a small
group of professionals from diverse fields whose passion
to build a community publication drew them together as
a team in May 2007. |

Madhu Reddy, founder
and former publisher, launched CT Indian Life in 2007. He
is a realtor with William Raveis Real Estate and Home
Services in Glastonbury. A longtime resident of
Connecticut, Madhu is a familiar face at many community
events and is involved with several nonprofit
organizations. His hobbies include listening to Carnatic
and Hindustani classical music. He can be contacted at

Sujata Srinivasan, editor and publisher, is a
full-time freelance journalist who has held several key
editorial positions, including, managing editor of
Connecticut Business Magazine, senior financial editor
at Innova Solutions (now Ness Technologies), and
correspondent and interim bureau chief at CNBC India-TV
18, Chennai, India. She currently works as an editor on
a project basis for financial/economic research
organizations, and writes for several publications
primarily in the U.S., and also India. Her weekly
business/economy blog appears in the libertarian website

Amishi Shah, associate editor, is a freelance
writer whose work appears in several publications
including Little India and India New England.
Formerly from Connecticut, Amishi continues to maintain
her ties with the Nutmeg State while pursuing an advanced
degree at the John Glenn School of Public Affairs in Ohio.
She was selected to attend the Nieman Conference for

Sudha Swaminathan, a columnist and contributing
editor at CT Indian Life�s Young Minds section, is a
professor of early childhood education at Eastern
Connecticut State University, where she enjoys teaching
and conducting research on young children developing
mathematical and scientific abilities. She enjoys
reading, storytelling, doing puzzles and playing games

Sandeep Gohad,
Web master of CT Indian Life, is a software
engineer by profession. He is also the editor of the
Chess Players Association of
India, Latest Chess
and Python Threads
Web sites. Sandeep comes from a family of sportsmen and
women. His grandfather was a Ranji Trophy cricket
player, his mother played cricket for the State of
Maharashtra, and his sister is an international gymnast.
Sandeep is a FIDE (World Chess Federation) rated chess
player and has represented India at the Asian level. His
hobbies include gardening, traveling, swimming and
listening to Hindustani classical music. He can be

Adesh Saxena,
formerly of Connecticut, is a resident of Paoli, a suburb
of Philadelphia, where he works as a medical writer for
Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. He and his wife “miss Connecticut,
the ocean, and the peace and charm of the New England
coastline.” Adesh grew up in Bombay, now Mumbai, and

formerly a resident of Connecticut, works for
UnitedHealthcare in Cary, North Carolina. A writer at
